Mission Statement and Activities
The Association for Veterinary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine (AVEPM) is a professional organization for all persons involved in advancing veterinary epidemiology and preventive medicine. Its membership includes teachers, researchers, practitioners, administrators, and students in the United States, Canada, and other countries. It draws from schools of veterinary medicine and pubic health as well as other health professional schools and from non-academic health agencies and veterinary service organizations.
AVEPM is an organized voice for those in the United States and Canada committed to developing and fostering the academic base for veterinary epidemiology and preventive medicine. The AVEPM is active in sponsoring educational programs and developing learning resources which can be shared among the members.
